Get ready for a fun-filled January 2025!

This month is bursting with cool days to celebrate—like World Braille Day on January 4th, Kid Inventor’s Day on January 17th (time to get those ideas rolling!), and Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 20th. And don’t miss Lunar New Year on January 29th—it’s a time for fireworks, dragons, and family fun!

You can also build something awesome for International LEGO Day, and join kids around the world for the International Day of Education, a day all about learning new things.

February 2025 has lots to explore and celebrate! On February 11th, it's Safer Internet Day—a great time to learn how to stay smart and safe online. That same day is the Magha Shukla Purnima festival, a special lunar celebration in many parts of the world. Then on February 13th, turn up the volume for World Radio Day, and on February 20th, join in World Day of Social Justice—both are perfect chances for fun family activities and learning together!

March 2025 is full of reasons to smile!

Celebrate Mothering Sunday on March 16th—it's the perfect day to show love to mums, grandmas, or anyone who takes care of you. Then, get ready to spread good vibes on the International Day of Happiness, coming up on March 20th! Depending on where you live, you might also celebrate Commonwealth Day—another fun chance to learn about different countries and cultures.

April 2025 is packed with fun and learning! Kick things off with April Fool’s Day on April 1st—get ready for silly jokes and harmless pranks! The very next day, April 2nd, is World Autism Awareness Day, a great time to learn about kindness, inclusion, and what makes everyone unique. Then, on April 22nd, celebrate Earth Day by helping the planet—plant something, clean up, or just enjoy nature!

May 2025 is blooming with fun and learning! Start the month with May Day—think flowers, dancing, and springtime cheer! All month long, it’s National Walking Month, so grab your sneakers and get moving. During Mental Health Awareness Week, take time to talk about feelings and ways to stay happy and healthy. Plus, celebrate our everyday heroes on International Nurses Day, buzz into action for World Bee Day, and explore nature’s wonders on the International Day for Biological Diversity!

June 2025 is bursting with special days to celebrate!

On June 5th, show some love to our planet for World Environment Day. The very next day—June 6th—is National Donut Day, so get ready for a sweet treat! Dive into World Oceans Day on June 8th and learn all about sea creatures and watery wonders. There’s also World Day Against Child Labour (June 12), International Albinism Awareness Day (June 13), and World Blood Donor Day (June 14)—great chances to learn about kindness, fairness, and helping others. And don’t forget to stretch and breathe on International Yoga Day, June 21st!

July 2025 is full of cool days to celebrate!

Got a sweet tooth? July 7th is International World Chocolate Day—yum! Then, on July 11th, it’s World Population Day, a great time to learn about the people who share our planet. And at the end of the month, roar with excitement for International Tiger Day on July 29th, all about protecting these amazing big cats!

August 2025 has something for everyone to enjoy and explore! Start the month with lots of laughs during International Clown Week (Aug 1–7), and celebrate families and caring with World Breastfeeding Week. Love animals? Give a meow for International Cat Day on August 8th! On August 12th, it’s International Youth Day—a special time to celebrate kids and teens around the world. Don’t forget to chill out on National Relaxation Day (Aug 15), and look to the skies on National Aviation Day (Aug 19).

September 2025 is full of exciting days to learn, explore, and make a difference! Celebrate the joy of reading on International Literacy Day, and learn how to help others on World First Aid Day. Practice your language skills for the European Day of Languages, and discover how fair trade helps farmers around the world during Fairtrade Fortnight. You can also get involved in protecting our planet during Great British Beach Clean Week, and welcome the change in seasons with the autumn equinox—hello, autumn!

October 2025 is bursting with creativity, learning, and fun! 

Celebrate inspiring stories during Black History Month, and get those rhymes ready for National Poetry Day on October 2nd. From October 6th to 12th, dive into your favorite stories during Libraries Week, and blast off into learning during World Space Week (October 4th–10th)! There’s also Dyslexia Awareness Week (October 7th–13th), a great time to learn about different ways people learn and think. Don’t forget to care for your feelings on World Mental Health Day (October 10th), and finish the month with some spooky fun on Halloween, October 31st!

November 2025 brings cozy vibes, learning, and lots to celebrate! 

As autumn leaves crunch underfoot, it's the perfect time to explore seasonal themes and get ready for the start of the Christmas period. Look out for special observances like Remembrance Day on November 11th—a time to reflect and remember. November also brings Anti-Bullying Week, where we learn to be kind and stand up for others. Don’t miss Children in Need, a fun chance to raise money and help others. With chilly days ahead, it’s a great time to share stories, learn together, and maybe even spot the first signs of winter!

December 2025 is a magical month full of celebrations and cozy classroom moments! 

Kick off the month by welcoming the start of winter on December 1st. Around December 8th, explore mindfulness and peace during Bodhi Day. From December 14th to 22nd, shine a light on traditions by learning about Hanukkah, and of course, get ready for festive fun leading up to Christmas Day on December 25th! With sparkling lights, giving hearts, and wintry wonder, December is the perfect time for kindness, creativity, and celebration.
